Submission Instructions
Volume 2: DOORS
Submissions open March 15 – June 15, 2025 (CLOSED)
- All submissions must relate to the given theme.
- Only one submission per writer is acceptable.
- Memoir, Creative Nonfiction and Fiction stories are limited to one (1) composition of 300 to 1,500 words.
- Poetry submissions are limited to three (3) poems of 25 lines or less submitted in one document.
- All submissions must be double-spaced, 12-point, Times New Roman font, and in Word doc format.
- All submissions must be original and by writers over 18 years of age.
- The writer’s bio of up to 75 words must be included in a cover letter.
- Simultaneous submissions are permitted.
- No graphic, gratuitous violence or sexual content is permissible. And No AI-generated stories, or previously published material is acceptable.
- All submission must be emailed to: submit@writers-journal.com. The writer’s name and genre should appear in the subject line of the submission email. (i.e. Barbara Hurwitz, fiction)
